The rising oil price

Kim Yun-Hyung and Myoung-Soo gave a presentation on April 4, 2011. It was all about the oil price rising over the world that we have to consider serious. They well explained the serious situation to us that the rising oil prices cause many problems we are facing. I’d also like to mention about the problems of the oil price rising and the solutions.

As everybody knows, the oil price rising is one of the worst problems in the world. As technology is developed, as people, who like gas-guzzlers like fancy cars, other machines, etc, are overpopulated, and as limited resources are being exausted, the problem is getting worse and worse, even at this moment. Therefore, countries, including my country Korea, have suggested lots ideas that might be helpful and that look as if it solves the problem unsolved for a long time. Yet, the problem is still going and causing many problems like high taxes on oil, economic problems, etc. So, the rising oil price is one of the must-be-solveds.

Now here are my points of view. In fact, it doesn’t look as if we can reduce consumption of oil. In addition, though there are lots of rules restricting oil prices, they look like they don’t work properly as planned. So, how we reduce the consumption of oil and save oil is that firstly, we ourselves have to know what we have to do to save the resources especially in our daily lives, secondly, governments, for sure, encourage people to use public transportation and strengthen the qualities of it. Finally, we have to invest in developing new replacable resources like hydrogen energy, nuclear energy, etc. They are already developed, but not perfect, so we have to develop them to replace with oil. I roughly guess, once hydrogen energy or nuclear energy is in our hands perfectly, oil prices and following problems of them might be solved.

  1. Hi thank you for your comment about me.and I agree with your opinion about your some of solutions which are reducing using of energy and developing new replacable energy. But do you think nuclear energy can be new replacable energy? it already exists and it's dangerous so many countries are giving up nuclear energy. I mean it's old energy which is dying.

  2. ah it's dying. you could be right :), but i have different view of it that nuclear energy has existed for a long time though, there must be something left that we don't know yet, and that we must develop more to use it perfectly. i could be wrong also, but, at least i meant that :) thanks for replying.

  4. I agree with your opinion. I thought our best choice to select the exchange oil for the resources will nuclear power in our country. Most of electronic power from burning of oil. Tidal power can be solution but it used just 2~3% of total rate of suppling electronic power now, so we'll have to spend too many times. I think the nuclear power is the most efficiency way to get electronics.

  5. Yes, I agree your idea. I think the best is energy change. so better is sola energy. saved anything. some nature, time, and free energy.
